Chasing Symptoms: The H.I.D.D.E.N. Truth!December 27th, 2012 | 0 Comments

I got a text from my cousin yesterday.
He was hoping I could share with him a good — and of course, FAST — way to lose weight.
You can probably imagine what his New Year’s Resolution is.
Exactly how I was going to answer this ultra-loaded question in a text message was beyond me. And as you and I know, long-term fat loss is not something to be done as quickly as possible.
The best I could do was send him the download link to my ebook. Because the fact of the matter is that I have no idea WHY my cousin is overweight in the first place.
And that’s what I want to talk about today.
Everyday, my inbox is flooded with questions from viewers, readers, and listeners regarding specific symptoms and health conditions.
What can I do to keep my skin from breaking out?
I’ve had insomnia for years, and I’ve tried every supplement under the sun. Why doesn’t anything work?
My digestion is horrible. I have (insert symptoms here) almost daily. What do you think is wrong with me? HELP!
About 90-percent of the time, my answer is this…
I don’t know.
Probably not what you expected. But I honestly have no idea why anyone is experiencing specific symptoms at any given time.
For instance, skin problems may be due to any of the following:
* poor diet
* leaky gut
* yeast overgrowth
* liver dysfunction
* food sensitivities
* hormonal imbalance
* mental/emotional stress
* environmental toxins (i.e. personal care products)
Which one is it?
I don’t know.
Without a thorough investigation to find the root cause, my guess is as good as yours.
Unfortunately, our current symptom-oriented medical model has us conditioned to perpetually chase symptoms, as we spend our time and money looking for quick fixes while ignoring the real cause(s) of our health challenges.
This has to stop.
And that’s why my buddy Reed Davis — founder of Functional Diagnostic Nutrition — and I got together recently to put together a FREE video e-course to teach you how to STOP chasing symptoms and get to the root cause.
We call it Chasing Symptoms: The H.I.D.D.E.N. Truth.
H is for Hormones.
I is for Immunity.
D is for Digestion.
D is for Detoxification.
E is for Elimination.
N is for Neurotransmitters.
Click below to watch Reed draw out his infamous Brain-Body Diagram. It’s a good one!

Before I forget, Reed and I will be hosting a FREE live webinar on Functional Fat Loss next Thursday at 5pm PT/8pm ET. Keep your eyes peeled for details!
Enjoy the videos, my friends.
