This Year’s B-School Bonuses and Scholarship Info!

Marie Forleo Scholarship

Who wants a scholarship?

Yesterday, our friend Marie Forleo opened enrollment for her online B-School (short for “business school”) course.

Click here to hear our recent podcast.

Being a B-School graduate myself, I cannot recommend the course more highly. BUT I also know that courses like this don’t fit into everyone’s budget.

So, for the second year in a row, I’m sending one ultra-motivated, aspiring entrepreneur to B-School. Right out of my own pocket.

Here’s how to qualify:

Podcast #318:
The Food Babe Scam?

Vani Hari

Guest: Vani Hari, The Food Babe

Last Tuesday I woke up to an unfortunate email.

It was from my friend Vani Hari. You may know her as The Food Babe.

Reading what she wrote, I could feel her frustration.

On the morning of the release of her new book The Food Babe Way, a project she had spent the past year pouring her heart into, she was met with dozens of 1-star Amazon reviews bashing her book … and her mission.

In her email, Vani was asking those of us who had received advanced copies of her book to post our reviews in order to counter the disparaging comments posted so far that morning. But only if we had actually read the book, of course.

I’ll be honest, I’m not a fan of Amazon reviews.

Podcast #317:
How to Draw More Meaning into Your Life.

Jake Ducey

Guest: Jake Ducey

Jake Ducey is a remarkable young man.

At just 23 years of age, he has published two books, built an orphanage in Guatemala, given a viral TedX talk, and spoken before tens of thousands of students and corporate employees.

His most recent book, The Purpose Principles: How to Draw More Meaning into Your Life, was a joy to read, deserving of a spot on my list of Top 10 personal development books.

So, how does a guy who never got better than a C in a writing course have the audacity to become a bestselling author in a category dominated by established writers decades his senior?

Hard work. Dedication. And knowing his purpose.

Podcast #315: Diet Cults!

Matt Fitzgerald

Guest: Matt Fitzgerald

This was not easy.

I’ve been interviewing health experts and authors for a little over 6 years now.

I’ll be honest, for most of those years I’d been pretty squeamish about disagreeing with my guests on the air. I figured it wasn’t my job to debate with them. Plus, I never wanted to have one of those “This interview is over!” moments. Yikes!

But lately I’ve been stepping out of my comfort zone and really challenging my interviewees with tougher questions and even some respectful disagreement.

Yet nothing quite prepared me for today’s episode…

I first heard of Matt Fitzgerald while listening to one of my favorite satellite radio programs, The All Out Show with Rude Jude. Matt and Jude were discussing how today’s “fad diets” — low-carb, paleo, south beach, etc. — have zero scientific merit and have a striking resemblance to cults.

Yes, cults.

Then Matt said something that blew my mind…
