MORE Protandim Proof!
December 8th, 2010 | 4 CommentsI love this stuff!
I’ll be honest. When people send me emails about running Lipid Peroxides tests (to measure oxidative stress) in order to prove that Protandim works, I kinda roll my eyes. Why? Because the research out of so many prestigious universities keeps saying the same thing over and over again about Protandim’s ability to reduce oxidative stress by an average of 40%. The proof is already there. It’s apparent. BUT at the same time I can understand that people have been scammed out of their money by supplement companies time and time again, so running a fairly inexpensive test is worth it in the minds of many.
Last month, we showed you Before and After results demonstrating a dramatic reduction in oxidative stress. If you missed it, click here! This month, Protandim does it again! Check out the results below.
On another note, a funny thing happened when I was at Borders a few days ago. I was checking out Dr. Nicholas Perricone’s latest book Forever Young. On page 41, he states “Finding substances that can turn on the highly protective transcription factor NRF2 holds the key to preventing a host of diseases.” That’s exactly what Protandim does. It is a NRF2 activator that instructs your genes to upregulate the production of vital antioxidant enzymes. As a Lifevantage distributor, I am not allowed to say that it can reduce your risk of ANY diseases. But it looks like Dr. Perricone just did. Thanks, Doc!
Here are the results!
Before Protandim

Our subject is a 44 year-old male. He took his test in late June of 2010. As you see, his lipid peroxides are very elevated at 9.44. A high score is 6.0 and above. This indicates quite a bit of free radical damage, otherwise known as oxidatives stress. Oxidative stress is associated with over 200 different diseases. This individual is a high risk for degenerative disease.
After Protandim

Our subject began taking Protandim in October 2010, just after my big radio show/YouTube launch. On November 22, he retook the test and saw his former score of 9.44 plummet to 3.84. I’ve run hundreds of these tests and have only seen a handful of lipid peroxides scores below 4.0!
Ladies and gentlemen, we have another winner!
We have a handful of test results due back any day now. We’ll be sure to keep you posted on how they turn out. For now, we’re 2 for 2, in addition to 6 peer-reviewed published studies, and 26 other universities and institutions studying Protandim on their own dimes.
The stuff is legit. Period.

This is a MLM scam selling overprice herbs. The studies are all done by a “scientist” who is a major stockholder in the company in minor journals.

Well, that “scientist” (one of many who are studying Protandim) actually co-discovered the entire field of free radical biology in living organisms. He won the Elliott Cresson Medal for this discovery in 1997. Look it up on Wikipedia and you can see some of the other prominent names who have won the same medal like Alexander Graham Bell, Marie Curie, and Henry Ford. Dr. McCord is NOT some “scientist” looking to make a buck. He’s also been nominated for the Nobel Prize 4 times. If you check out CNN’s Dr. Sanjay Gupta’s book Chasing Life, he mentions McCord and Protandim a total 23 times. Great endorsement.
As far as it being an MLM scam, Protandim had been on the GNC, CVS, and Hi-Health store shelves from 2003 to 2009. However, it was not a big seller since it so different from any other antioxidant product. That’s why the company switched over to MLM so the story could be told by people like myself.
There are 26 universities and institutions around the globe currently studying Protandim on different disease processes. And all of these studies are INDEPENDENTLY funded. I direct you to http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed?term=protandim to read the other INDEPENDENT (5 of the 7) studies that have been published so far. Harvard. LSU. Ohio State University, Journal of the Amercian Heart Association. Maybe they’re all part of a big MLM conspiracy!
I’m no fan of MLM products, but this a great one that is helping a lot of people. Instead of posting your knee-jerk reaction, I suggest you spend some time looking into the product. Once you do, I’m sure you’ll love it.
Thanks for the comment.

We now have 29 Universities researching Protandim on their own dime and 13 peer review studies in Pubmed.org on Protandim. Dr. Nicholas Perricone’s on his latest book Forever Young. On page 41, states “Finding substances that can turn on the highly protective transcription factor NRF2 holds the key to preventing a host of diseases.” You see this is exactly what Protandim does. It’s an NRF2 activator messenger that instructs your genes to upregulate the production of vital antioxidant enzymes like Glutathione and more. There is no doubt in my mind that the research being done in the Michael J. Fox Foundation on NRF2 will prove to be very positive for the many people with PD disease.
