Today’s podcast episode is a real game changer if you’re interested in having stronger bones, healthier joints, better digestion, and more youthful hair, nails, and skin.

I mean, who wouldn’t want any of that?

And that’s why I decided to bring back another classic, retro episode with our buddy Chef Lance Roll to fill you in on how bone broth can literally turn back the clock on not only how you feel, but how you look.

Here’s what you’ll learn:

Podcast #341:
Critics, Controversy, and Paleo Cooking. (Plus, a Rant)

Pete Evans

Guest: Chef Pete Evans

Here goes…

I’ve been on quite the Facebook tear these past couple days, airing my thoughts about where my head is at right now.

I think somewhere during my 6-week hiatus from the podcast this summer, I started questioning the way I had been doing things … wondering if the podcast and newsletter were doing more harm than good.

It kinda reminds me of way back in 2011 when I got fed up with foodie bloggers beefing with other foodie bloggers and I wrote this blog post about Just Eating Real Food.

Does being healthy really have to be this complicated?

Should we just accept every charismatic health expert’s word as gospel and shut out all opposing views?

Is letting someone else decide what’s right for you and me really the path we want to take?

Or might we be better off considering all sides, listening to our own bodies and intuitions, and deciding what makes sense for who we are and where we are in our lives.

This morning, I posted the following to Facebook:

JERFin’ with Dr. Sara: Thai Coconut Soup Recipe!

the_hormone_cureby Sean Croxton

Thai food just isn’t my thing.

Every time I’m forced to visit a Thai restaurant I end up staring at the menu for fifteen minutes hoping that something somewhat appetizing will magically appear.

It doesn’t…

So I just grin and bear it, wishing we met up at the Japanese spot.

A couple of weeks ago I found myself in a similar predicament — filming an impromptu cooking video in Dr. Sara’s kitchen. But this time I was more concerned about spitting out my heaping spoonful of Thai Coconut Soup during the “taste test” scene.

Click the video below to find out how our Thai Coconut Soup turned out!

And don’t miss Dr. Sara on Underground Wellness Radio LIVE tonight at 5pm PT/8pm ET.

If you missed her two previous appearances on the show, they were the most downloaded episodes of 2013. She’s a riot!

Here’s THE LINK to listen in.

Enjoy your soup!

How to Cook a Turkey!

The_Underground_Holiday_Recipe_Guide_Page_01-300x300by Sean Croxton

No one likes a dry, overcooked Thanksgiving turkey.

After hours and hours of prep time and cooking, a subpar turkey dinner can be a real bummer for everyone at the table, especially the cook.

So this year, my friend Chef Lance and I have set out on a mission to rid the world of dry bird disasters.

We’re calling it Operation Juicy Bird.

Our objective: To show YOU how to make the juiciest, most flavorful turkey to ever grace your Thanksgiving table.

One that will draw raves from your friends and family.

To carry out our mission, the chef and I filmed a step-by-step video for you below.

And that’s not it…

We also had Carrie the Graphic Designer put together an instructional Underground Holiday Recipe Guide with ingredients and instructions for your Juicy Bird as well as delicious side dishes, including yams, Paleo Bread stuffing, and Brussels sprouts with bacon.

Click here to download your FREE Holiday Recipe Guide.

Chef Lance and I will be getting together again next month to film more holiday recipes. Leave a comment under today’s post and let us know what you’d like us to make.

And be sure to tune in next Tuesday for our side dish video!

Enjoy your Juicy Bird.

Mission accomplished.
